Daily Inspiration: Meet Camalon Moore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Camalon Moore.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story stems with my love for the holidays and my passion for creating spaces that feel warm, beautiful, and welcoming. A lot of that came from the women in my family. My grandmother baked each of her 14 children’s favorite cake for Christmas. My mother filled our home with the aromas of holiday cooking and decor, and my aunt had a way of decorating that made every gathering feel extra special. As I created a home of my own, I naturally carried those traditions with me.
Over time, family and friends kept encouraging me to turn my gift of decorating into something more. They saw how much joy and elegance I brought into my own home and reminded me that what started as a personal passion could become a real business.

The turning point came when a contractor visiting my home asked if I decorated professionally. That simple question stayed with me because it confirmed what so many others had been telling me for years. It gave me the confidence to take the leap, and by July 2025, I officially launched Elijah Grace, LLC.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a business comes with its share of difficulties. While I have been fortunate not to encounter major challenges, I attribute much of my resilience to maintaining a positive mindset and leaning on a strong support system. My faith in God, along with the unwavering encouragement of my husband, children, family, and friends, has made all the difference. Their support has kept me motivated and continues to inspire me to move forward.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At Elijah Grace, LLC, we specialize in transforming spaces through professional decorating services for all seasons, with a signature focus on holiday design. Whether working with businesses looking to elevate their seasonal ambiance or families seeking a stress-free, beautifully decorated home, our goal is to bring love, joy, happiness, and smiles to every space we touch. In addition to decorating, we source unique décor for retail and offer concierge shopping services for clients who enjoy decorating but prefer to avoid the time and hassle of crowded stores.

I am most proud of the joy our work brings to others. Seeing a client’s reaction when their space is transformed—no matter the season—is incredibly rewarding. It’s not just about decorating; it’s about creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories for families and businesses alike.

What sets me apart from other designers is my attention to detail and my commitment to truly understanding each client’s vision. I approach every project with creativity, care, and a personal touch, ensuring each design feels unique and intentional. My focus is not only on creating beautiful spaces but also on delivering a seamless, stress-free experience that allows my clients to fully enjoy every season.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I believe that over the next five to ten years, AI will play a bigger role in helping creatives with planning, product development, and streamlining parts of the design process. It can be a valuable tool for improving efficiency and generating ideas, but I do not believe it can replace human creativity. The personal touch, intuition, and emotional connection that people bring to creative work are what make it meaningful and memorable.
