Today we’d like to introduce you to Asha Kince.
Hi Asha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started Esthetican school back in 2023. Being a mother, I really wanted to further my education & master a skill that that could not only help me support my family, but also potentially leave something behind for my daughter in the future. Beauty school was not easy, but when I learned waxing- something clicked. I fell in love. Yes, I love providing facials & other esthetic services, but waxing came so easy to me. I immediately knew that was something I wanted to PERFECT & offer to my community. I started practicing waxing at home with family & friends, building my social media pages, & recording content. After graduating beauty school and passing the necessary state board exams, I was officially a licensed Esthetician. Soon after, I went to work at a waxing chain to learn even more about the industry & work on bettering my craft. Fast forward to October 2024- AK Esthetics became open for business! I received so much support and love from my community, clients, and family. To this day I am so proud of how far I have come as an Esthetician. I’m so excited for the future and what’s ahead of me!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have definitely been struggles throughout my journey and there still are. From being a new parent, grieving family members who have passed, working a full time job while also running a business, God has really kept me strong & focused to do what needs to be done.

I am a licensed Esthetician. I specialize in full body waxing, facials, and “vajacials”. I am most known for waxing! What I am most proud of is that I didn’t let any obstacles I went through in my life stop me from pursuing something that I love to do. What sets me apart from others is that I really do care about having a connection with my clients and addressing their needs, wants, and concerns.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I feel there has been no luck in my life and business- nothing but blessings from God!
