Hi Jasmine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Tiger’s Sweet Treats in 2021 it actually was for my daughter to start her own small business. We started out just making cupcakes. With little no experience what so ever lol so I thought maybe I should get a job to help with supplies. In 2022 I applied at Kroger for cashier but they had an opening in the bakery I was like well that’s perfect lol so I worked and learned how to actually do cupcakes and cakes and everything I learned I taught my daughter. So many things we learned from TikTok university as we call it. But as time went on I enjoyed working for Kroger as well. Learned more things such as making cookies dipping strawberries candies anpple and so much more. Actually customizing cakes and cupcakes with pictures and different types of designs. However I didn’t let working interfere with my goals of working at home as well. Today were more advanced more have more clientele and now we’re ready to start shipping.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It most definitely haven’t been a smooth road. I say that because you have a lot of competition some days are slower than others you may feel that this isn’t the right path for you. However you just have to trust the process and keep going social media is the best because your best customers are the people you don’t even know you.

I am a treat maker we specialize in cakes treats such as cookies chocolate covered strawberries etc. We’re best known for our cakes. What am I most proud of I would have to say that I didn’t quit and kept going. I would definitely have to say my prices they are very affordable.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
ALWAYS KEEP GOING. It’ll definitely get challenging but keep going it’ll be worth it in the end.
I wished I knew someone like me that gives encouraging words don’t mind you calling for help and not be scared they would get their clients. I’ve always said it’s an enough money out here for everyone.
