Life & Work with Sierra Coleman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sierra Coleman.

Sierra Coleman

Hi Sierra , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well, my story is a lot of people’s story in my opinion. Overcoming struggles, battling my own demons, in and out of jail, troubles with addictions and rehabs, but reaching the other side of success. The difference with my testimony is that I allowed God to process me for his work and I answered the calling that I believed was upon my life. I got where I am today by the grace of God and my own belief in myself. I saw myself free before I was free, therefore I became what I knew I could be!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My path in life has been very difficult. I battled with depression, anxiety, suicidal attempts. Drugs, gangs, jail and rehab. You name it , I’ve probably been through it or close to it. Nothing has come easy in my life which made me to be tough and to endure!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do all sorts of things. I am a writer, director, editor, preacher & motivational speaker. My specialty is encouraging people to actually want to live and not give up on themselves or their dreams. Motivational speaking has been a game changer for me in ways that I can’t express with words but to see the help others have received through my words have really been a blessing! What sets me apart from others is my determination to bless others, my giving nature and my passion for encouraging lost and depressed people.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Other than the Bible which has been my rock for many years. I’ve now used what I’ve learned to apply it to my own life which has really kept me focused. The many lessons and stories in it have kept my character in check.
