Brandon, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a young Black chef from Raleigh who beat the streets and turned every obstacle into fuel. Cooking became my way out and my way up — transforming struggle into purpose. That passion took me from local fine dining kitchens to top tier nightclubs to traveling the world, creating dishes for legendary celebrities and building a life I once only dreamed about.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I grew up surrounded by challenges — the streets, limited resources, and a lot of situations that pulled me in the wrong direction. I had to teach myself discipline, rebuild my environment, and fight through people doubting my path. Breaking into the culinary world wasn’t easy either; I started at the bottom, took jobs nobody wanted, and had to prove myself twice as hard.
But every setback toughened me. Every obstacle sharpened my hunger. Those struggles became the foundation that pushed me from surviving to thriving, and ultimately to cooking around the world for some of the biggest names in the game.

I’m a traveling private chef known for blending Southern roots with global flavor. I turn comfort food into elevated, unforgettable dishes, and I’ve brought that style to celebrities and clients around the world.
What I’m most proud of is how my journey shapes my craft — every dish reflects resilience, culture, and the drive that took me from the streets of Raleigh to cooking on international stages. What sets me apart is the experience I create: authentic, bold, and built from a story you can taste.
