Today we’d like to introduce you to Celia Mans.
Hi Celia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Celia Mans , I am originally from Guatemala. I have been living in the United States for 27 years, I started my business Bluff City Cleaning Services just a little over 3 years ago. My goal is to grow my business in the surrounding area and provide quality service in the cleaning industry. We currently
clean office spaces, apartment complexes, and residential homes. I’m looking at expanding my business to add jobs to the local economy. It’s taken time and dedication to get to where I am today. I met my husband Tom in 2017 who has been in the Memphis area for 25 years. He is a United States Air Force Veteran and has helped me with my business since we started. We met online if you can believe that! We have been together for 9 years. During that time we have been expanding the business and getting new clients.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been an easy road in the cleaning industry. We are learning every day how to effectively run the business and get new clients. We find that the online presence is very competitive and every time we complete a job we always ask for reviews of our cleaning. We believe in making the clients experience a good one. Are motto is “Don’t Stress, We’ll Handle the Mess” and I can tell you we have had our share of some dirty jobs! The clients could not believe the difference when we completed the job.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We would love for your readers to know that we take pride in our services and our work. We are dedicated to making everyone’s cleaning experience a wonderful one. I believe what sets us apart from other cleaning companies is the care that is given to make sure the client is completely happy before we leave the job. We do a walk thru with the client at the end of the cleaning to make sure they are 100% satisfied with the cleaning. We are proud to be in the Memphis area and it shows in our logo with the Memphis skyline.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe in luck! It’s all about hard work and dedication. If you can imagine something and put your mind to it, you can do anything. I’m a prime example of that. I came to this country with a dream of making a better life for myself and I’m proud to call myself a hard working entrepreneur.
