Hi Stephanie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Everlasting Bride was not simply created as a business it was birthed from a dream, a passion, and a purpose.
My journey began in the event design and planning industry. What started with creating events for my family eventually grew into a business where I had the opportunity to plan, design, create beautiful floral arrangements, and help bring special moments to life. Although I loved what I did, deep down, I knew it was not something I wanted to do forever.
My love for bridal fashion, however, had always been there.
When I was younger, I dreamed of pursuing a career in designing fashion. I loved the idea of creating beautiful things and helping women feel confident in what they wore. But at the time, I didn’t know how to draw, and I allowed that limitation to convince me that it wasn’t for me. We didn’t have the technology, resources, and tools that are available today to help bring creative visions to life, so I put that dream aside.
But sometimes, the dreams we put away are the very dreams that God intends to bring back to life.
As the years passed, my love for bridal gowns continued to grow. I realized that my true gift wasn’t necessarily designing the gown itself it was helping women discover themselves through the gown. I found my niche in helping brides understand what silhouettes, styles, and details complement them and, most importantly, help them feel beautiful and confident.
There is something incredibly special about watching a bride look in the mirror and realize, “This is the one.”
I wanted to be part of that moment.
So, I made a commitment to learn everything I could about the bridal industry. I traveled, built relationships, gained knowledge, made connections, and eventually worked within the industry so I could experience the business firsthand. I wanted to understand the industry not just from the outside looking in, but from the inside out. I took the time to learn, observe, ask questions, and prepare myself for the journey ahead.
But before I moved forward, I prayed.
I asked God if this was truly what He wanted me to do. I knew how strongly I felt about pursuing this dream, but I wanted more than my own desire I wanted His confirmation.
And when that confirmation came, I was ecstatic.
That was the moment I knew it was time to stop dreaming about it and start building it. And Everlasting Bride was born.
I am personable and genuinely enjoy connecting with people and building meaningful relationships. I would encourage anyone pursuing their dreams to take the time to learn their industry, stay focused, and face obstacles with confidence. Most importantly, believe in yourself, put in the work, and trust that you can accomplish what you set your mind to.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every business comes with its own set of personal challenges, but I’ve learned that those challenges are often where we grow the most. They teach us how to be patient, how to adapt, and how to navigate the unexpected while continuing to move forward.
One of my biggest challenges has been patience.
In the bridal industry, patience is truly part of the process. Just as the bride must wait months for her wedding gown to arrive, I’ve had to learn to wait for the products I need for my store. There have been times when I’ve selected beautiful gowns and products for Everlasting Bride, only to find that I can’t get everything I want right away. I’ve had to wait for production, sample sizes, and inventory to become available.
As a new business owner, that can be difficult. You have a vision for what you want your store to look like, what you want to offer your customers, and how you want your business to grow but sometimes, the reality is that you simply must wait.
The current economy has presented another challenge through increasing costs and tariffs. As an industry that relies heavily on products manufactured and shipped from outside the United States, we have experienced additional fees and rising costs that directly affect our inventory. Those increases are difficult because, as a small business, we must find a way to absorb some of those costs while also making necessary adjustments to our pricing.
It can be frustrating to see the cost of bringing products into the store continuing to rise, especially when you want to keep your products accessible and affordable for your customers.
But these challenges have also taught me something important: building a business requires resilience.
I’ve learned that everything will not happen on my timeline, and every obstacle does not mean I’m going in the wrong direction. Sometimes, it simply means I must slow down, adjust, and keep going.
Just like I tell my brides to trust the process while they wait for their gown, I’ve had to learn to trust the process of building Everlasting Bride.
The wait has not always been easy, but it has taught me patience, flexibility, and perseverance and those lessons are helping shape Everlasting Bride into the business I envisioned.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is witnessing the moment a bride realizes that this is really happening and she’s getting married.
There is something so emotional about watching a woman step into a gown and suddenly see herself as a bride. When she says, “Yes to the dress,” it’s never just about the dress. It’s about everything that led her to that moment.
I get to witness the excitement, the happy tears, the laughter, the memories, and sometimes even the emotions that are difficult to put into words. I watch her surrounded by people who truly love her and want to see her happy. They encourage her, celebrate her, reassure her, and sometimes cry right along with her.
And then there is that moment when she looks in the mirror and everything seems to change.
She realizes that the little girl who may have dreamed about her wedding day is now standing in front of the mirror, preparing to marry the person she loves. She realizes that the day she has prayed for, planned for, and looked forward to is becoming real.
That moment means everything to me.
