Today we’d like to introduce you to Natazia Cole.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am very creative person, and I’ve always showcased it since I was a little girl. I used to draw on the walls and sketch cartoon characters growing up. My favorite elective was art. I enjoy many different aspects of art not just paintings and drawings. I knew that I wanted to do makeup from the age of 16. I enjoyed drawing on my face and blending colors together, I started taking clients in college while I attended MTSU. As a young adult out of college I started working in a mall doing makeup and working with reality tv talent in ATL. After becoming a mom I slowed down with clients coming back home to focus on my education and working full time. After having my second child recently, I started back working on my makeup career, rebranding my myself, and the company.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Everything in life is not made to be smooth. I definitely had some struggled in this 9 year run. Before I had my kids, I enjoyed going to parties and delaying my responsibilities. That costed me a lot of time and money. After experiencing an epidemic, having two kids, and balancing my work life with education has been very challenging. I continue to work on my business through it all and being the best mom I can be in the midst of it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a makeup artist, I’ve been doing makeup for about 9 years now. I have worked solo most of the time in my business and I’ve worked with a team at stand in the Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia, GA. I’ve worked as a face paint artist at a couple kids parties and I’ve also worked with majorette teams in Athens, GA. Recently I’ve been working on a lip gloss and liner makeup line. By the end of 2026 it will officially be released.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I am very hardworking. I’ve been working since the age of 15 and I’m very persistent. When I want something I work hard to go at it. Persistence is what got me this far and I will work hard to pertain that.
