I am Martye Hickman Jr AkA MartenFrancisco!
I started as a young ambitious kid from Oxford, Ms and Yalobusha County. I’ve been interested in music and art since elementary school for sure. Starting my music career in 2009, I didn’t think I’d be graduating from SAE Institute 6 years later. Audio Engineering gave me the blue print to the Media company I’m currently running. As you may have read, I started SavaThaFlavaLLC in 2018 right before pandemic chaos. SavaThaFlava is my seasoning company, packed with natural flavors and herbs. It’s still thriving today! Golden Palms Grass and Garden Club is still a baby! My exterior refresh business. I love to learn new skills and stay busy. Making money off of my skills always brings me a sense of accomplishment! Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been the furthest from a easy road. From homelessness to substance abuse, I over came and was able to maintain! Now I take obstacles as just opportunity. I’ve trained myself to stay calm and find the hole! Hit the hole ! Yet, sometimes you have to time it up just right.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do a variety of things from music recording artist to landscaping, exterior refresh, cooking, to clothing etc. The list goes on!
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am one of the next future billionaires that will live on this earth!
