Today we’d like to introduce you to Shafaque Fatima.
Hi Shafaque, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, my name is Shafaque Fatima. I am originally from Sindh, Digri, a small town, and I currently live in Karachi, Pakistan. I did my bachelor’s in Electronics engineering now; I’m an enter-pruner and a creator by choice. As an Engineer, I worked in a 9 to 5 circle. After spending a year in that job circle, I realized it was not for me; that’s not my direction; I took five years to realize that, lol, as I cannot see myself fitting in corporate life. Therefore, I start figuring out things in my free time. I love football. Yeah heard right. Since childhood, I have been a number one football fan and have supported the Spanish club Real Madrid. I don’t think I have ever missed Real’s match. This passion leads me to my creator’s journey. Then, I started blogging on Instagram in the football niche, and my blog name is “Football Fuel” I started making the content, and unexpectedly, the response I got was exceptional. I am nearly on the road building a 10k followers community soon that loves to stay updated about football and consistently appreciate my work and encourages me to add more exciting stuff. So I took this too seriously and started learning content creation & social media marketing so that people value my work.
I aim to expand my blog “Football Fuel” by creating more exciting content on YouTube that people will know that some girl from Pakistan is creating unique content on football!
I also worked remotely for different USA/UK-based companies as a content creator & social media expert. I gained unique exposure from each of my experiences.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, no, It’s not a smooth road for me. I struggled a lot because if you have to start something new, you have to leave something behind which is not worth having, so yeah, I have my ups and downs, but I learned from my hard times, now it only makes me stronger because if you believe in yourself you can do everything no matter how many difficulties comes let’s not give up, have complete faith on Almighty.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on? What sets you apart from others?
I’m currently running my two e-commerce business one is with Amazon as a USA- Seller & one is within Pakistan, ultimately building from scratch, and we get a small success till now as Both ROI is coming good we achieve not much yet because both business models are in the initial phase. Hence, we all are focused on building a Valuable brand, hopefully, InshaAllah.
What sets me apart from others? When I get comfortable with being uncomfortable, nobody stops me!!
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising, hmm, People don’t know that If they judge me say something about me to make me feel down, they don’t know that whatever they try to do, they always fail because I’m a very calm person and others’ good/bad opinions don’t bother me!
I’m who I’m & that is my strength!!
