Hi Krystal, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am Krystal Harriott. Originally from Miami, Florida currently residing in Huntsville, Alabama. After having 3 babies, 2 at home water births- free births, not only was I able to heal my body naturally but since then I have been able to prevent pregnancy with my natural birth control, MYMO. Today, MYMO, pronounced Mi-EM-Oh, is my top-selling product that has been to 7 countries internationally and used by different people on high platforms. Creating healthy skincare products for mothers and children has been my top priority as a holistic birth and postpartum doula in the last 4 years.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been an easy road because of the backlash and criticism I receive on social media about my natural birth control. People think it’s impossible for an herbalist to create a natural birth control, like the birth control used today is not derived from a yam potato. The MYMO is a herbal spermicide oil that works when used correctly. I figured I would do something great for all people but women especially, by creating an option for us that doesn’t have harmful side effects. This product is not limit edto only women, it is a spermicide so it is definitely an option for men, even the LGBTQ+ community. My spermicide oil fights yeast and bacteria, it protects anal, vaginal and penile tissues and stops the transfer of diseases. I like to think of it as a healthy condom replacer. Its super oily and natural ingredients. Women going through menopause have expressed life changing experiences from using the MYMO, dealing with vaginal dryness and loss of sex drive.
Although an OBGYN would say a spermicide is less effective, it is called Mature Yoniversal Massage Oil because its for the grown and mature. Having sex is a mature decisions where people have to be accountable for thier actions. The MYMO is a safe remedy for all persons.
Many women have children and fear the thought of conceiving a baby too soon so they agree to use products and tools thats harmful to their bodies just to prevent a mistake. Many of my followers and engaging persons on TikTok feels like the MYMO is a great idea but its 100% effective. In actuality, the only thing 100% effective is abstinence.
Despite the opposition, I continue to push forward because this publicity, whether good or bad, has gained me exposure from different people. It is not my purpose to heal people or act as an Obstetrician, I created a useful and convenient product that I believe many people can benefit from.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Currently, I am focused on getting my product on display for more people to learn about it and potentially use it. I want people to understand that at any moment in their life, you have the power and tools to make a 360 change in your life and live the life you deserve.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is a mindset. How we view things determines success in one’s life. Before, I would beat myself up because I felt like I wasn’t where I wanted to be in life and I had to make the necessary changes with me to determine what success is. Well, I created a billion dollar product and have sold over 5,000 in the years I have been in business. That’s success, growth and change is success. Shoot, adversity and hard times is success too. TD Jakes says if your life had no resistance, how would you know if you’re strong or not. How will you ever be ready for the next phase in life if you don’t experience hard times. This is character building, this is great because it means your preparing for what youve prayed for, that is success! Success is positive feedback and healthy results from things that once seemed like a burden of a lifetime.
I feel most successful when my customers from 3 years ago who have been using the MYMO take to their social media to say how much they love the MYMO and how many people should take advantage of it! I am forever grateful to all my positive supporters, this is truly the success in it all!
