Hi Brandy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started The Bee Line from two things: My love for inspirational quotes and coffee mugs. As a mental health therapist, I always make up inspirational quotes off the top of my head or repeat the ones that I know of.
So, I was thinking, “How could I share inspirational thoughts with everyone.” Then the idea of creating coffee mugs came to fruition. What started off as a coffee mug line has evolved into a product line that embodies inspiration, motivation, and self-care.
The Bee Line consists of inspirational coffee mugs, a specialized coffee and tea line, a candle scent, and a skincare line. With my business, I remind people to take the time out for themselves and let them know that it is ok to focus on them.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’m not going to lie, being an entrepreneur is not easy. I will say that it was an easy start. I stated that I wanted to create this business and I did. Every time, I wanted to add something new to the line, I was able to do it with ease.
But I will say that running a business isn’t easy. When the pandemic hit, it took a toll on all businesses. People who were buying necessities for survival do not want pleasure. But I never gave up on my business and made cost-effective items with my products.
A major obstacle that I encountered with my business was when I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in 2021. It was very hard for me to get all of my orders out in a timely manner, but thankfully ALL of my customers were empathetic and supportive of my minor setback.

The Bee Line is an inspirational product line through coffee mugs, coffee, and candles. Our coffee mugs inspire you. Our coffee motivates you. Our candles calm you. Our skincare reminds you of self-care. What sets us apart is that we are very personal with our business and our customer service.
We work with budgets to give what you can afford yet do not feel that you have cut corners with the quality of products. With The Bee Line, I am also accessible. I return my customer’s emails in a timely manner and personally assist with any issues that they may have encountered. With the brand, I am most proud of how the products make people feel good.
Our mugs remind our clients to stay inspired. Our beverages keep them motivated. Our skincare reminds them to participate in self-care. I want the readers to know that The Bee Line is a Small Business that practices what it preaches. We go above and beyond for our customers and give everyone top-notch service regardless of who you are or how much you spend.
Every customer is treated like a V.I. Bee.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is knowing that I gave it my all and I was successful at it. I have built my company on my own with nothing. I want to be able to have my business be on the same level as other major businesses.
I want to be an example to everyone who is watching me so that they can know that they can do whatever they put their mind to. I want them to see me never giving up so that they will never give up. I want them to see the good and the bad because I don’t want them to think that this is easy because it isn’t.
It takes so much work and so much dedication. When you want to give up, that is the moment that you keep going. Knowing that I have built a business by myself is powerful to me because I did it.
