Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendrick Benson.
Hi Kendrick, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a businessman, building the brand of my company Nothing But Bizness Ent. But I’m also a Manager, Artist, Choreographer, and Actor.
As an artist, I go by the name KingBelief… And that’s one word because there’s no SPACE in between the KING and my Belief. I’m an Inspirational Hip-Hop Lyricist… I don’t curse in my music, I put God in all I do… and I speak my TRUTH!! It’s not Gospel, it’s INSPIRATIONAL!
I took a leap of faith and moved to NEW YORK to promote my new Album “Next Move”. Available on all major platforms. 14 tracks, no features, all original music with NO CURSING!! I’m trying to do something DIFFERENT in this industry.
In NY, I had. No friends, family, living situation, job… actually, I have never been at all. Nobody I knew could even tell me a thing to help prepare me for what my spirit called a “Portal”. Basically, stepping away from your safety needs and leaning SOLELY on the spirit of God to lead and provide! After two amazing years, I wrapped up my stay in Bushwich NY, living in a BEAUTIFUL loft from starting in the shelters.
Since then, I’ve performed and worked with countless artists in states such as Minnesota, Chicago, Missouri, California, and New York, currently working on AFRICA!
It’s my goal to make feel-good, Inspirational music that my nephews and kids can recite, without getting in trouble! Also music my Mom wouldn’t cringe at while listening to. The industry is in need of something DIFFERENT! I’m the answer!!
God sent me to NY, and little did I know sent me back to ministry! I was a Youth and Young Adult Ministry Leader for the Evergreen Baptist Church in Brooklyn. I performed most of my music in churches and events catered to the Spirit of God.
Since, I’ve grown Nothing But Bizness Entertainment, and pulled all of the family in so we can all combat these negative vibrations and changes in the world. I’m now with the Worldwide Fleet DJs, and wrapping up the “Divine Unity” tour collaboration between both companies, at the 11th Annual Fleet Conference, in Jacksonville FL. July 14th-18th!
Stepping more into the DJ KingBelief role and even accepting a position as a Marketing Executive for an even bigger Entertainment company, means nothing but growth and expansion in the near future!!
I know I’m designed with a purpose bigger than me, I believe I’m meant to use the power of music and energy transfer to help heal our spirits with high vibrations! I appreciate everyone giving me the time to know a little about my story!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being born as an albino, raised in the hood, moved to the suburbs, even a small town right after a big city! Being a black man in America, to light for the streets to dark to date Sarah!
My Dad left when I was 14, and my older brothers were nowhere to be found, I then became the man of the house and my family, because my younger sister and mother needed me! Been then emergency surgeries from an appendectomy, gang retaliation, car crashes, protests, church hurt, depression, abandonment issues, etc.
All in the search of wisdom and my Higher-self. I believe we have the experience we have because they’re designed to activate our purpose. I don’t live with any regrets, just lessons, and blessings.

Aligning with the spirit of God, known by the fruit my life bears, that I’m pleasing my creator. Knowing my family is provided for, healthy, and safe. I do.
