Rising Stars: Meet Brittney Reed

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Reed.

Hi Brittney, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
From a small Mississippi town called Senatobia.

I started mixing organic ingredients inside of my parent’s kitchen to successfully grow my friend’s and families’ hair. This quickly led me to help many people in my community achieve amazing results from using my all-natural products. My products have now reached many states across the U.S. and even Greece!

I am currently living in Houston TX on a mission to spread love and confidence across the world through my all-natural products.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Coming from a small town where there aren’t a lot of opportunities for entrepreneurs.

Especially black female entrepreneurs. I want to be able to show people that it doesn’t matter where you come from or how you start. With faith, dedication, and hard work you can make any dream come true.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
100% all-natural handmade products are proven safe and effective for men, women, and children of all ages and all hair types. Free of harsh chemicals, sulfates, and dyes. Black-owned and woman-owned.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I like most about home is the people. Growing up in a small town every one feels like family.

What I like the least is the lack of opportunities
