Hello Department Store Entertainment, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
When you walk through any retail store, or in an elevator, you hear music playing in the background. That is Department Store Entertainment! The mission is to bring entertainment to everyone based on geographical variety, live music, and passion.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest obstacle was been responsiveness and transparency. Initially, this was problematic because we were merging different audiences and backgrounds with a professional network of investors and creatives.

Department Store Entertainment initially started in the retail industry. We are now a regional brand making an imprint in hip-hop, country, blues, R & B, Latino, and Reggaetón.
We are unique in we offer management, artist development, legal services, touring, business/investment services, and marketing. We are most proud of developing talent and creating opportunities for them to share their gifts in a variety of different markets.
The brand is growing and we value anyone who has attended an event. If you are creative or know someone talented – we have a place to further develop your talent. Growth is a continuous process.
What do you think about luck?
The luck happened once there was a team in place to actually understand their roles. Department Store Entertainment started as a collective of people with strong individual talents.
Luckily, everyone came together for the greater good of the team and is constantly looking to grow the brand.
