Hi Brianna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, I’m Brianna Wallace and I’m the owner of The BrowsbyBree Beauty Studio located in the east region of Memphis, TN. I am a licensed Esthetician, who specializes in Brow and Makeup Artistry. At The BrowsbyBree Beauty Studio, clients are offered an array of services which include Brow Waxing, Brow Arching, Soft Glam, and Full Glam makeup applications.
Although I have only been licensed for almost two years, I have always been fascinated with the beauty and cosmetic industry. Growing up, I was always watching my mom apply her makeup before heading to work or out with her friends. One particular night, I remember attempting to fill in my bushy untamed eyebrows, needless to say, they ended up looking horrible, but my obsession with eyebrows was born.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to owning my own business hasn’t been a smooth one, anything in life worth having will come easily. I still remember the day I decided to withdraw from MTSU because I knew I wanted to do something different. The problem was I didn’t exactly know what I wanted to do yet, granted I knew I was passionate about brows and skincare, but I just didn’t know how to turn my passion into a career. Then in 2018, I stumbled upon a Murfreesboro Paul Mitchell ad highlighting the upcoming enrollment for their Esthetician program. However, due to scheduling conflicts, I was unable to enroll, but I still held out hope that greater was just around the corner.
I don’t know how to explain it, but God just kept showing me that if I just held on a little longer, it would finally be my breakthrough season. Fast forward to January 2020, I told myself this was my year, so I toured Gould’s Academy Bartlett in May 2020, enrolled, then later graduated and became a licensed Esthetician by February 2021. I know if I was given the chance, I wouldn’t do anything differently, everything happens within God’s divine timing. I believe that with God, diligence, patience, and a mustard seed of faith anything you desire is attainable. However, when struggles do arise, I’m thankful for the positive support system that continues to motivate and inspire me to keep going, because I know and believe that nothing worth having is built overnight.

Prior to opening my studio doors, I always wanted a place where my clients could come in, relax, and not think about the pressures of the world. I wanted an indoor oasis that was filled with positive energy, a place that would make you feel comfortable instantly. Working in the cosmetic retail industry, oftentimes I would hear women complain about their outer appearance, and it made me want to assist those particular women to change how they viewed themselves.
Although I love giving my clients Brow Waxes and Makeup Applications, the look of astonishment prior to handing them the mirror after service is the highlight of my day. I want my clients to walk into any room with an aura of confidence that is unexplainable and easily attainable. At The BrowsbyBree Beauty Studio, where I specialize in Makeup and Brow Artistry, I believe in the enhancement of one’s natural beauty. Clients are able to choose from an assortment of services that include Soft + Nude, Alluring + Vibrant Glam, Seductive + Daring Glam, Brow Waxing, and even Brow Arching, each service is tailored to meet and exceed your expectations.

Honestly, I want to thank God for all that He has done for me, prior to starting my business and even more now. He placed inspirational and motivating individuals in my path that have assisted me in numerous ways. I can honestly say that I don’t know where I would be without my family, Mrs. Root, Mrs. Johnson, Jasmine Jenkins, Kianna Edwards-Burnett, and Aerial and Marnelia Roy.
