Check Out Sherkenna Buggs’ Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherkenna Buggs.

Hi Sherkenna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I used to host potlucks at my old job, that’s how I really fell in love with cooking. I went to culinary school to learn how to cook professionally, I had soul food cooking down to a tee. I did a lot of free networking to get my name out there.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It would be days when I didn’t have a babysitter so my daughter would have to tag along with me.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I can think of a dish then get up and execute and give it away for ppl to try. I specialize in gourmet cupcakes and exotic savory dishes. I’m the chef that other chefs can call and they know that their food will be in good hands.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People reach out all the time for me to help them. People know that I’m gonna come through and treat their event like it was mine I mentor young chefs most of the time they’re from out of town and I never miss a beat with them.
