Paving the way. Marie Jones grew up in a two-parent home with a loving family who cared for and provided for her. The standard of what a family should be was within the walls of her childhood house. Yet, she was a troubled teenager who always faced adversity in school. The only thing that motivated her to finish high school was the sport of Track and her Guidance Counselor.
She recalls not knowing what she wanted to do with her life and knew little to nothing about college, but her counselor continued to remind her that she was exceptional and could have a successful life. The counselor invited scouts to every track meet to see Marie’s talents in Track, which helped land a college scholarship. She then recognized that she could accomplish more in her life.
Marie had to learn how to survive on her own while navigating college life, which made her realize that if someone didn’t pave the way for her, she wouldn’t have had a clear vision for her life. Graduating as a first-generation graduate helped Marie to find purpose in her life. That shaped how she wanted to give back to her community and pave the way for others. Marie always said, “I want to be that one somebody, for somebody.” Marie’s Body Sculpting was birthed from this newfound purpose for her life.
Love the skin you’re in. Marie Jones started Marie’s Body Sculpting so that women and men could achieve their desired body image without spending much money. Marie knew from personal experience that it takes more than diet and exercise for most people to lose stubborn fat. From her connection with many people, Marie understood that people are their best selves when they love the skin they are in. Marie’s vision for Marie’s Body Sculpting is to give people the confidence they need to lose weight, and the non-invasive approaches she uses are not only a way to lose weight but also create a lifestyle of self-care.
Education. Marie Jones has over two years of experience performing non-invasive weight loss procedures. She holds a certification with LA Beauty & Health Institute, where she completed over 730-course hours focusing on non-invasive weight loss procedures. She is certified in multiple professional areas allowing her to perform non-invasive cosmetic procedures, including but not limited to ultrasonic cavitation, laser liposuction, radio frequency, sauna detox, Columbian wood therapy, and vacuum & vibration therapy. Marie’s education and experience aid in her success in providing clients with healthy weight loss options.
Generational Wealth. Marie’s Body Sculpting is not just a way to make money for Founder Marie Jones. She spent endless years researching the healthiest methods for people to lose weight before launching her cosmetic company. Marie is dedicated to helping others gain the results they want for their appearance and paving the way for others, emphasizing minority women so that they can position themselves to provide a living and create generational wealth for their families.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We have been in business for a little over 2 years. It has not been a smooth road as I am still running and operating the business alone. Some of the struggles are finance and marketing.
