Hi Nalexus, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello Memphis, I’m Nalexus Moore owner of Twinklewithtudes Beauty Therapy. I’m a 2x licensed professional beauty therapist, Esthetician, and Manicurist here in Memphis. My interest in the beauty industry started back in 2017. I was a college student seeking my income. I invested in a lash course with my refund check over fall break. By the time spring break came around I knew college wasn’t the way!
Then, I started to search for “How to become a professional lash artist”.
At the time, lashing was attached to Esthetics. I had no interest in skincare until I toured THE IVY INSTITUTE School of Esthetics. That’s when I completely fell in love with the beauty industry and completed my courses in 2019! Once the world opened back up after COVID-19. July 2020. I became a licensed Esthetician! After 3 years in the industry, my stars are still shining and multiple celebrities have had a Twinkle experience.
Fast Forward. 2022, I was expecting the biggest blessing and became a MOMPRENEUR in Oct. 2022! If anything, my baby girl, Clover turned my hustle up a thousand! I’ve always had a passion for nails since I was a little girl. My mom always took me on dates to the salon. To this day, I’m coaching the tech on how I like my nails. Jan. 2023, I enrolled in Nail Academy in Memphis, TN, and became a Licensed Manicurist Oct 2023!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
On the short side, this experience hasn’t been easy. Just like a shooting star, I’m going to fall but I still shine! Thankfully, It’s made me grow in so many areas of my life. As a person that have visions and goals that keep growing by the minute, it’s hard to confine myself to one project.
I just love working to get what I want! Being ambitious plus a perfectionist, I don’t stop until I’m satisfied. With humbleness and consistency, many opportunities will overcome all challenges!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
TWTBT specializes in a variety of skincare treatments such as advanced facials, back treatments, full body waxing & non-invasive lipo. TWT provides services such as mink lashes, teeth whitening, gel manicures & steam pedicures. TWT also sells hair extensions. Offering wigs, bundles & closures/frontals.
My motto is “Remember all stars shine the brightest in the dark.“ I built my brand wholeheartedly being Me! My mission is to make everyone feel as beautiful as they are in their skin, even when they’re not feeling their best. My job as a beauty therapist is to enhance your beauty with healthy professional treatments along with open eyes and ears to listen! I love being a safe space for my Stars. Whenever you walk in a twinkle world, Come as you are! And when you leave, you walk out shining brighter than before.
Rejuvenate and Refreshed! SHINE BRIGHT STAR! Our experience is 100% based on YOU! Yes, I’m the professional here and yes I’m deciding what steps are necessary, to help you achieve your overall beauty goals/wants but the overall experience is all on YOU! My biggest rewards as a Beauty Therapist are when Stars, getting a treatment and trying to catch themselves from snoring or tell me how relaxed they feel after a treatment. My heart smiles when they come back telling me how many compliments they got.
Overall, choosing Twinkle over and over again means so much more in my heart than words can express! Also fulfilling, when other professionals are willing to work together and network.
