James, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
One day, I went to get a haircut and I took my barber a burger…
After I left he called and said everyone in the shop wanted one… I delivered and that was the first food I sold for money. I continued to sell burgers and steak then ribs. Nearly one year later, I got fired from my job. Trusting God, I built a concession trailer and God blessed it!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The struggles have been many, however, the reward has greatly outweighed them all. From the theft of our first trailer to the lack of support from those closest to me.
People told me that I was crazy to think this was a good move to change careers at 40. Yet we continue finding success and favor.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Bar-B-Que Pitmaster. My specialties are smoked meats. We have created a process that allows us to produce a product that can not be matched. Our processes include homemade seasonings, meat rubs, wet sauces, and homemade sausages. We are known for making customers smile from the inside out by giving them a taste and flavor that is unmatched.
That along with portions to match the prices. This is that place where you truly get what you pay for. We do not get into gimmicks and buffoonery to sell meat, we just put it in your mouth! We are set apart from the BBQ crowd not only by the attention to detail in the prep/cook/packaging process we follow but also by Customer service. Our goal is to provide the absolute best-smoked meat on this side of heaven.

To start this business there was a huge risk taken, I changed careers at 40!!
I had a successful career as an O/O trucker. Food has always been my passion. God gave me the go- ahead and I went. My wife fully supported this vision even when she couldn’t see it. Without risk, there’s always “WHAT IF” not here.
