Conversations with Courtney Wesley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Wesley.

Courtney Wesley

Hi Courtney, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my career with a producer (The Legendary Blackout) in 1992. Since then, we have made millions of hit records and are still making hits today. Our 2024 New Album (Big Business) is now on all music platforms.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Well, I was incarcerated in 2010. I had a state & federal case going on at the time. I was released in June of 2018. Here we are today.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Well, I have been making music all my life. My father was a pastor, so I began singing in the church choir very young. I specialize in communicating with people from all walks of life. I am proud of doing my jail time and not letting the jail time to me. I am a songwriter, producer, artist development, etc. I am the CEO of CODEREDEMPIRE. What sets me apart is that I have a unique style & delivery. I don’t try to sound like anybody else; all my tracks are originally created.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is of me and my whole family eating watermelon outside under my favorite tree.
