Inspiring Conversations with Garth Ward of Park Place Powered by exp realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Garth Ward

Hi Garth, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started as a Realtor in 2013 for a regional firm in Washington near Seattle and quickly become one of the top agents in the country under 30 years old. Afterwards, I was headhunted to a luxury firm in Seattle where I sold some of the most expensive properties in Washington’s history. In 2018 I made the move to create my own brokerage and subsequently grew it to 4 firms across the state with 137 agents working at my company. After a time I wanted even larger impact and decided to merge my firm into exp realty the #1 transactional brokerage in the country and that meant I could grow my group virtually and across the globe immediately. I made that transition a year ago and now my group spans more than half of the US. I moved our family to the suburbs of Memphis and am now happy to be a high level producing agent in this brand new market already.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Growing my sales. Increasing the prices of homes I worked on. Building a team. Building a brokerage. Merging my company and moving across the country to rebuild my personal sales have been my struggles in the business.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I sell real estate with top of the line branding and the highest quality service at all price points. I have sold projects from $10,000 to $21,700,000 throughout my time in the business.

Any big plans?
I am looking forward to growing my group larger and in new countries and selling even more homes locally.
