Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Brown
Hi Victoria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a Realtor and is a member of Memphis Area Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Northwest Mississippi Association of Realtors and Women’s Council of Realtors. I am a licensed Broker in Tennessee and Affiliate Broker in Mississippi.
I was born and raised in Memphis, TN and attended LeMoyne Owen College where I majored in Business Administration, graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 1997.
After college, I went into corporate America where I was a finance analyst for the City of Memphis Government. I did that for a few years, and then put on my entrepreneur hat in 2000. I ended up operating 3 successful daycares in Memphis, TN for 10 years as well as 2 tax offices, and a catering service in which I still operate today. I also opened a restaurant, 5 Star Grill that I operated for 5 years before closing it down and headed back to corporate America where I entered the school system as Director of Operations for 10 years.
I have two children, Latranae (29) and Jeremiah (24), no fur babies or grandchildren. My children and I opened up an investment company 3 years ago, Knight Growth Investments where we purchase distress properties, renovate, and resell. My daughter is a licensed FAA Dispatcher for American Airlines in Texas. My son is employed at Ducks Unlimited as well as launched a business entitled J’s sold sign where he installs real estate signs out on markets. He is also an inspiring model.
Why did I become a realtor? I have always had a heart for people, helping people, motivating, and inspiring others. I first became interested in becoming a realtor when I was running the daycares in 2006. At one time, I was a realtor, caterer, daycare owner, and tax office owner. I knew then entrepreneurship was my DNA. I stayed in real estate at that time for 2 years in which I was a million-dollar producer my first year being license. Why 2 years? The market crashed and I put my license in retirement and continued to work my other businesses and started working at a title company. Real Estate was always my heart, so I reentered the business in 2019 and have been going strong ever since. I am a multi-million-dollar producer. Again, I love the smile that is on my clients face when the deal is closed. I treat everyone like they are family and I gel well with my clients. I am honest on the front end with my clients and explain what’s the greatest and worst that can happen in a transaction.
When I first got my license in 2006, I was at Benchmark Realtors under Broker, Leon Dickson Sr. I stayed one year and joined 4 Success Realty in 2007 and stayed until I put licensed in retirement. When I returned to real estate in 2019, I rejoined 4 Success Realty. I have never worked in teams, always been an independent agent.
Awards: MMDC Producer for 4 years, with a proven track record, I have consistently achieved multimillion-dollar producer awards. My expertise and commitment have earned my recognition and respect within the industry, Excellence in Service Awards for 3 consecutive years and has actively served on the Member Services Committee, Education Course Monitor, and Benevolent Trustee Board.
Certifications: Education is everything and I believe whatever is your trade, one should learn all that they can to advance and stand out above competitors.
I hold the following: TN Broker License, MS Affiliate Broker License, Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), At Home With Diversity (AHWD), Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), Mastered the advanced digital marketing techniques certification program (E-PRO), Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI), Military Real Estate Professional (MRP), Performance Management Network (PMN), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES).
Outside of my professional accomplishments, I am actively involved in my community and faith-based initiatives. At New Life of Memphis, I am a part of the Congregational Care Team, Outreach Ministry, Transitions Team, and Executive Leadership Staff. I am an amazing cook who started catering at the age of 17 where I catered my 1st wedding at age 18. I have cooked for over a 100 Realtors, loan officers, inspectors and title companies and wears the crown “The Cooking Realtor”. Victoria and her kids run an investment company, Knight Growth Investments LLC where they purchase and renovate homes in Memphis and surrounding areas.
Hobbies: Cooking, traveling, watching sports. I travel every chance I get. Some of my recent trips includes Greece, Costa Rica, Aruba, Hawaii, Savannah GA, Dallas, Texas, Washington DC, Maryland, North Carolina, Colorado to see Coach Prime and the Colorado football game to name a few.
Career Volume: Over 18 million in sales
Total Volume last year: Over 6 million in sales
