Check Out Daffne Cruz’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daffne Cruz

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Daffne Cruz is a dynamic and multifaceted professional with a diverse career spanning across education, fashion, fitness, fetish, and entertainment. At 33 years old, Daffne has worked in education for ten years, where she served as an assistant principal and head of the discipline department in her final years of education.

A true advocate for growth and empowerment, she has transitioned her expertise into the world of BDSM education, working with Carnivale Risque to teach safe, sane, and consensual practices to individuals and couples.

In addition to her educational and coaching roles, Daffne is a professional model and content creator with a strong presence in the fashion industry. She has worked as a runway model in Los Angeles, representing top designers while also exploring her creative passions.

Daffne is also a business owner, having successfully ran a car shop, Strictly Royal Racing, specializing in performance modifications that both enhance speed and aesthetics. Although the shop closed in 2022, her passion for innovation and transformation continues to influence her work.

As the founder of Androbuilt, Daffne offers one-on-one coaching and personalized fitness plans, helping individuals, particularly within the queer community, achieve their body goals through both in-person and virtual training. She also developed her own app to provide accessible fitness resources and guidance.

Daffne’s latest venture includes her appearance in an upcoming TV show set to release on December 19, 2024. While details are under wraps, this new project promises to further showcase her diverse talents and multifaceted career.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When asked if her journey has been a smooth ride, Daffne reflects on the challenges she’s faced being openly gay, Latina, and masc-presenting. “It hasn’t always been easy,” she shares. “But my motto has always been Authenticity Over Acceptance. I’ve stuck by that through every hurdle, and perseverance has been my specialty. My authenticity is my power.”

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in a few key areas—modeling, content creation, personal training, and BDSM education—but above all, I’m a doer. I thrive on pushing myself and diving deep into everything that excites me, whether that’s fitness, fashion, or exploring the world of fetish.

One of my proudest accomplishments is the creation of Androbuilt, my fitness business dedicated to helping the queer community achieve their body goals. I specialize in providing personalized coaching, both in person and online, with a focus on building confidence, strength, and empowerment. The positive response to Androbuilt has been beyond rewarding, and it really validated my belief that when you stay true to your authentic self and cater to a community that needs and appreciates your expertise, success follows.

I’m also a BDSM educator with Carnivale Risque, where I teach people about safe, sane, and consensual BDSM practices. In this role, I combine my passion for education with my personal experiences to help individuals and couples explore their desires safely and confidently.

What sets me apart is my energy and authenticity. People can mimic what I do, but no one can do it quite like I do—using purpose and passion as my driving forces. I’m constantly learning, evolving, and pushing the boundaries of what I can achieve. I’m proud to be able to offer a unique combination of services and experiences that empower others to be their most authentic selves, whether it’s through fitness, fashion, or exploring their personal desires.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has definitely played a role in my life, but I’ve always believed it’s about being prepared and open to the opportunities that come my way. I don’t rely on luck, but I do acknowledge that sometimes the right opportunities align when you’re fully aligned with your purpose.

For example, the positive response to Androbuilt, my fitness business, felt like a mix of luck and hard work. When I decided to focus on building a brand that authentically supports the queer community in achieving their body goals, the response exceeded my expectations. It was almost as if the universe recognized the intention behind it, and suddenly, clients were reaching out in droves. That felt like a lucky moment, but it was also a direct result of my commitment to staying true to my values and serving a community I care deeply about.

On the flip side, I’ve faced challenges that some would consider bad luck—like the closure of my car modification shop. But I don’t see setbacks as failures. Each “bad luck” moment has pushed me to adapt and grow in unexpected ways, leading to new opportunities. For instance, after shifting my focus to my personal brand, I landed a TV role shortly thereafter, which felt like a stroke of luck—but it happened because I had already laid the groundwork with my focus on authenticity and financial abundance.

In the end, I see luck as a small part of the bigger picture. It’s perseverance, staying true to your purpose, and working hard every day that really shapes success. I think luck comes when you’re ready for it, but you have to do the work to make it happen
