Laura, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Laura’s Kids Spa Parties started 2014 with an ideal for Laura Mason 19 nieces and nephews. I needed to contribute something as an auntie. How I got to where I am today because I still have that same passion however every child is my nieces now. It started as a side hustle and now a fully operated business 10 years later.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a smooth road all because my vision is clear. I stay in my own lane which is KIDS SPA only. The Parents trust me and the kids adores my team when the little girls interact at each party.
We’ve been impressed with LAURA’S KIDS SPA PARTIES, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Laura’s Kids Spa Parties started out as a side hustle, out her 4-door ford focus, 2 little girls aged 7 years old, and $50 for inventory. We specialize in little girls aged 1-12 pampering birthday parties. in the comfort of your home or choice of location. We are known for Kids Spa Day and pampering. What sets us apart from others is Laura’s kids spa travels mobile to 3 states Memphis, Arkansas, and Mississippi. We also have a brick and mortar for more convenience. I’m most proud of my team of 5 teenager for their work ethic. I can’t do this alone and I understand that. We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
My view on risk taking is do it scared, no money, speak into existence over your business. I’ve taken a risk daily in my business such as in the present of kids, update policy, market strategies.
