It all started with Elo Asè in a place of deep self-loathing. Lost and searching, he turned to the streets, drawn into the gang life. This path led him down a dark road of dealing drugs and theft, ultimately landing him behind bars. It was there, facing the harsh reality of incarceration and a diagnosis of high blood pressure, that something shifted. Elo began to read, immersing himself in books and embarking on a journey of self-discovery and healing. He transformed himself from the inside out, finding peace and wellness within the confines of his cell.
Upon his release, Elo returned home a changed man. He channeled his newfound knowledge and passion for healing into caring for his ailing mother. This experience ignited a fire within him, leading him to establish his own business: Elo Ase, Herbalist & Founder of Nature’s Trap.
For the past five years, Elo Asè has been passionately dedicated to harnessing the power of nature to promote holistic well-being. As the founder of Nature’s Trap, he offers a wide range of natural products designed to support health and beauty goals. Elo faced numerous obstacles and challenges, beginning with deep self-loathing that led him down a dark path of gang involvement, drug dealing, and theft, culminating in incarceration. While imprisoned, he confronted the harsh realities of confinement, a high blood pressure diagnosis, and the internal struggle of self-discovery. Upon release, he faced the difficulties of reintegrating into society, caring for his ailing mother, and overcoming the stigma of his past. He then undertook the significant challenge of establishing and running his own business, Nature’s Trap, while simultaneously maintaining his personal transformation and commitment to wellness.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to Elo Asè is healing and transformation, both personal and communal.
