Check Out Daworld Pramyre’s (Premiere) Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daworld Pramyre (Premiere)

Hi DaWorld, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Old school household with very humble beginnings. I grew up with parents that were the age of most grandparents. Offspring of a musical family but the only one to take it seriously enough to try and make a career of it. Started writing songs at 10 and recording at 13. Lead sung for a r&b group in high school that led me to signing my first management deal at 15 as well as touring with universoul circus. After the group failed to sign a record deal, I began my solo career. I have worked with Memphis legends like Criminal Mane, DJ Squeeky, Lil Lody, Lil Wyte, and Frayser Boy. I’ve also worked with r&b legends like Anthony Hamilton and Lil G of Silk. Took a brief intermission due to the passing of my father, but I never stopped writing. Now I’m back to prove I’m the BEST singer in Memphis, TN.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My life has never been smooth. I probably went to and sung at over 20 funerals before I was 25. Almost all my family on my father side has passed away. Chased my dream all over America with my notebook and a change of clothes. Been homeless thousands of miles away doing open mics. Couch surfed with friends and at studios to record and create projects. Worked dead end jobs stressing from not being able to record and release music. I been shelfed, cheated out of money for radio play, and cheated out of money for promo. But I’m still determined to takeover music.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a Alternative R&B SuperStar. I consider myself the modern day Willie Hutch, Johnnie Taylor in the TRAP. I’m a singer by heart, and a song writer by nature. I’m most proud of myself for never giving up on my dream. No matter what, it’s in me and my mentality to go harder. The thing that sets me far apart from my musical peers is my voice. It’s definitely not one people hear often without digital help or manipulation.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Life is not fair. You can do everything right and things still go wrong. It just always boils down to how bad you want something. And I want my opportunity bad, bad.
