DeArtae, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a cameraman.I love what I do.I get to meet people,offer my services,see them smile afterwards.Thats joy,knowing that on 98% of my encounters with people is positive.People vent to me,I listen,I don’t judge or give to much advice,I just listen.Im a single father of 3 children,two whom live with me.I feel like fatherhood is one of the greatest gifts that a man can be given.To make a long story even shorter.Im you,because we all are one no matter how we look at it.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I can’t say that I have to many or any obstacles or challenges because,by me being a very competitive person,I look for challenges to overcome.I personally feel like every man should,It keeps the edge on you.Its always something that you have to hunt for,whether it’s good,money,information etc.Its just how you look at the path that you’re taking.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a visual artist.Basically if I can see it in my minds eye then it’s already done.I rely a lot on my imagination it keeps that spark inside of me alive.I wake up ready to create to inspire others.
What makes you happy?
Work and family is what I move for.My mission in life is what comes first but,I do it for the love of my family,without them,I wouldn’t have to many reasons to work as hard as I do.
