Today we’d like to introduce you to Denzel Alexander.
Hi Denzel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My career as a creator and photographer started in 2015. I was starting my collegiate career at University of Memphis the following year and wanted to better my writing and creative skills. I officially started my blog in December of that year.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No journey is a complete smooth road! Throughout my experience there has been opportunities that I’ve missed out. However, it helped become the creative I am today!

Since the start of my career as a creator, my focus has been highlighting personal style, menswear, and the city of Memphis. I pride myself in doing this in an authentic way that shows my true personality and creativity. This has opened SO MANY doors for me. Over the last 5 years alone, I’ve worked with dozens of brands on partnerships and campaigns, won academic awards, and even landed job opportunities from the work I do on social!
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I’m not very critical of my work! It might be surprising, because normally creatives are. If I have an idea, I think about it over and over so that when it’s time to capture the content, I know exactly what I want and how to capture it. I try not to think too hard when it comes to content creation, because I want it to remain fun for me.
