We recently had the chance to connect with Jada Sade and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jada, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day set the tone for everything that follows, especially as a business owner. I usually start around 6:30 AM with a moment of prayer and gratitude, centering myself before jumping into the day. I then review my to-do list and check any overnight emails or DMs from clients. After that, I spend some time preparing content whether it’s editing lash and skincare photos, creating social media captions, or reviewing inventory for my lash line. These first moments of clarity help me stay focused, creative, and intentional in how I represent my brand, So Glammed
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jada, and I’m a licensed esthetician and the founder of So Glammed, a beauty brand dedicated to enhancing natural beauty through expert care and quality products. I specialize in lash extensions, skincare treatments, and beauty education. What started as a passion for making women feel confident has grown into a full-service brand and lash line. I recently launched my own collection of lash products including professional-grade lash adhesive and lashes designed for both artists and everyday wear. What sets So Glammed apart is the balance of luxury and authenticity. Every service, product, and post reflects my mission: to help women feel beautiful, empowered, and unapologetically themselves. Right now, I’m focused on expanding my product line, growing my brand presence, and continuing to elevate the beauty experience for my clients.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that truly shaped how I see the world was losing my grandmother. Her passing was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced, but it also opened my eyes to the importance of time, legacy, and purpose. She was one of the most caring, hardworking, and resilient women I’ve ever known, and watching her pour love into others inspired me to do the same through my work. Her strength motivates me daily not just to chase success, but to make sure I’m creating something meaningful that can outlive me, just like the impact she left behind. Her memory is a big part of the reason I show up with passion and intention every day.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me patience, resilience, and faith in a way that success never could. When everything is going right, it’s easy to feel confident and motivated but it’s in those moments of struggle, doubt, and disappointment where I truly found my strength. I learned how to keep going when things felt uncertain, how to create opportunities with limited resources, and how to rely on God when I didn’t have all the answers. Success can show you what’s possible, but suffering shows you who you really are. It forced me to grow, to hustle with heart, and to appreciate every win, no matter how small. Those hard times built the foundation of who I am today personally and as the woman behind So Glammed.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies in the beauty industry is that perfection is the standard and that you have to constantly chase trends or look a certain way to be beautiful. It creates pressure, insecurity, and unrealistic expectations for clients and artists alike. Another lie is that success in this field happens overnight or only if you have a big following. The truth is, real success takes consistency, passion, and years of hard work behind the scenes. I built So Glammed from the ground up with honesty, care, and integrity not shortcuts. I believe in celebrating real beauty, real results, and real journeys not just the highlight reel.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think people may misunderstand my legacy as just being about beauty or aesthetics but it’s so much deeper than that. So Glammed isn’t just about lashes or skincare, it’s about empowerment, healing, and showing others especially young women that you can build something meaningful from scratch. People might see the polished brand and think it came easy, but behind it is a story of faith, sacrifice, and resilience. My legacy isn’t just that I made people look good it’s that I made them feel seen, inspired, and capable of chasing their own purpose too.
