Hi Nikita, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into wellness didn’t start with a business plan, it started when life happened. I’ve always been someone that people came to to listen, show support and cared. I didn’t realize that those were gifts and they were pointing me towards my purpose.
I watched my father struggle with his health and be in constant pain and I decided then that I never wanted my children to ever experience how I felt with my parent, so I turned my attention on health and wellness.
I started noticing how many people struggle with pain on a daily basis- be it physical, emotional or spiritual, without the knowledge and tools to help them through their situation. Wellness then became more than just a hobby it became my calling.
I became a massage therapist to help people not just to relax. I turned my focus to therapeutic work and pain management. I wanted to help people heal, move better and care for their bodies long-term.
What got me where I am today is that I kept going. My business is not just a service it’s my purpose. I give people hope, healing and tools to take care of themselves long after they leave my table. I help people reclaim their bodies, relieve their pain and feel like themselves again.
I didn’t get here over night but through faith, growth, and refusing to give up on myself. I show people it’s never to late to find your calling and become who you where called to be.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting The Body Tek Wellness and Massage wasn’t easy. I struggled with technology, building a website, and creating content. Some of these things are still struggles for me. With being an entrepreneur you find that there’s a lot of hats and most wear them alone.
But eveytime a client gets off my table and tell me they’re in less pain than before, Everytime someone comes back and reports how they finally slept through the night or was able to run and workout with little to no pain, it reminds me why I started.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The Body Tek Wellness and Massage is more than just a massage studio, it’s a place where people come to find real relief, real healing and real support. I specialize in therapeutic massage with a strong focus on pain management, mobility and helping clients understand their bodies. Many of my clients come to me because they’re dealing with chronic- pain, limited range of motion, stress related tension or injuries that have been slowing them down. My goal is not to just make them feel better in the moment but to experience long term results.
What sets my business apart is the way I personalize every session. I don’t just massage, I educate, listen and give the tools to use at home. My goal is long-term healing, not temporary relief.
I’m most proud of my clients transformation. My brand is known for it’s intentions and effectiveness not a quick fix. Clients choose me because I’m thorough, caring and results driven. They know they’re gonna receive focused professional care with real results.
I also want people to know that The Body Tek Wellness and Massage will be offering more than just massage therapy but a full wellness experience with educational workshops, couple’s stretching events, digital wellness guides, self care resources and more. Everything I create is designed that people take care of themselves long after their session ends
My mission is to help people live pain-free, be aligned in their bodies and and experience the quality of lofe they deserve.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I’m honored to have people in my life that help motivate and support me the best way they can. With my technology struggles my children have come in to help with that. My oldest child designed my website, my middle child helps with designing flyers and my youngest helps with editing videos. Also in my corner I have some business colleagues I expressed my concerns with and they volunteered to help me edit my website and shoot my videos and a friend that helps with emails and other behind the scene duties.
My biggest cheerleaders are my clients, a lot of my clients have been with me from the beginning. They encourage, support and make sure everyone they know knows who I am. I am so grateful to have such love and support in my corner.
