Today we’d like to introduce you to Meagan And Trevor Qualls.
Hi Meagan and Trevor, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Meagan Chastant-Qualls has been serving patients at MidSouth Integrative Medical since 2000. She attended Louisiana State University and the University of Memphis for undergraduate and graduated from Loewenberg School of Nursing in 2012. Meagan then received her Nurse Practitioner degree from Simmons University in Boston. She serves as a member of the MS Medical Cannabis Research Advisory Board, Cotillion Social Board and as an adjunct clinical professor at Baptist Health Sciences University. She serves as a clinical site affiliate to ten different nurse practitioner universities.
While her career began in the mission field, taking multiple trips to Guatemala and El Salvador, Meagan now has over two decades of clinical experience. She specializes in functional medicine, embracing a comprehensive approach to healthcare that emphasizes personalized treatment plans. She believes in balancing traditional care with holistic approaches, recognizing that each treatment has its appropriate place in patient care.
As a healthcare provider, Meagan’s faith guides her professional approach. At MidSouth Integrative Medical, Meagan leads a team that shares her vision of healthcare. She believes in taking care of the people who take care of her, including her staff, her patients, and her family.
Meagan has been married to her best friend for 17 years, Dr. Trevor Qualls. Together, they are proud parents to three children: Avary, Trevor, and Chandler. They have been an inspiration into this entire journey. Our motto is “Hope Starts Here”, and our goal has been to restore hope in the healthcare system.
Dr. Qualls was born in Selmer, TN and raised in a small town above Corinth, MS called Michie, TN. He enjoys being active in the community and spending time with family and friends. He is a licensed chiropractor who owns MidSouth Integrative Chiropractic. He has advanced certification in the cranial cervical junction.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life becomes a whole lot lighter when we focus less on what we *want* and more on what God is calling us to do. Looking back, the path that led us here isn’t the one I would have chosen at the start. There were unexpected turns and detours we never saw coming—moments that were discouraging, delays that felt heavy, and doors that closed when we were sure they were meant to open.
But even when it wasn’t easy, it was always worth it.
The story of how we secured our first clinic still feels like a miracle. Our original plan was a building in Olive Branch, and we were convinced that was “the one.” When that opportunity fell through, it felt like a setback. In reality, it was a redirection. Not long after, we were presented with the chance to open in Southaven—an opportunity we wouldn’t have had if God hadn’t closed the first door. What we thought was a loss became the very thing that positioned us to launch exactly where we were meant to be.
And then, when we expanded to our second location in Hernando, Mississippi, we saw that same pattern again: a closed door, followed by a better one opening at just the right time. What once felt like interruptions now read like guidance—proof that sometimes God’s “no” is simply making room for a bigger “yes.”
We’ve been impressed with MidSouth Integrative Medical, Aesthetic, and Chiropractic , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
MidSouth Integrative began in 2020 with a simple mission: help people heal and thrive by blending the best of traditional medicine with a functional, root-cause approach. From the start, our providers pursued integrative training to expand what healthcare can look like—care that is evidence-based, personalized, and grounded in safety and quality control. We believe every treatment has its appropriate place in patient-centered care, and that thoughtful balance has allowed us to help patients restore wellness in a way that is both effective and responsible.
Today, MidSouth Integrative is built on three complementary pillars—Medical, Chiropractic, and Aesthetics—each designed to support the whole person.
On the medical side, we take a comprehensive view of health restoration. Our providers use advanced testing—including blood, saliva, urine, and stool analysis—to identify imbalances that may be contributing to symptoms and stalled progress. From there, we develop individualized plans that may include traditional medical care alongside IV vitamin nutrition, oral supplementation, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, frequency optimization, and integration with complementary alternative therapies. The goal is never “one-size-fits-all.” It’s to create a plan that meets patients where they are and helps them move forward with clarity and confidence.
Our chiropractic care—MidSouth Integrative Chiropractic—adds an essential layer to that whole-body approach. Each patient begins with a careful, thorough health history and chiropractic examination, followed by specialized adjustments designed to restore proper nervous system function safely and effectively—without medications or surgery. Because the nervous system influences so many functions in the body, chiropractic care often becomes a powerful part of a patient’s overall wellness plan. With our unique approach, we’re able to provide quicker, more accurate analysis, support faster results, and ultimately help reduce healthcare costs—lowering barriers that keep people from receiving the care they need.
As our clinic grew, so did the demand for aesthetic services that were medically guided, ethical, and aligned with our commitment to whole-person care. MidSouth Integrative Aesthetics developed within our medical practice and expanded so significantly that in 2024 we formally separated the Medical and Aesthetic sides. This decision helped create clear distinctions between treatments that are medically necessary and those that are primarily cosmetic, ensuring transparency, supporting moral ethics, and allowing us to serve clients with even greater focus. While MidSouth Integrative Medical strives to balance traditional care with functional medicine, MidSouth Integrative Aesthetics focuses on client beauty goals through medically guided cosmetic treatments designed to enhance appearance while supporting overall well-being.
We’re passionate about helping clients achieve balanced, natural-looking results—and we emphasize individualized care over high-pressure sales. Many clients arrive with a strong idea of what they think they need, and our providers excel at identifying what the body is actually asking for. In many cases, we reinforce a foundation of health before we build an aesthetic plan—because the best results often come when the body is supported from the inside out. We believe that improving self-image can be a meaningful part of wellness: confidence impacts how people show up in their lives, and feeling aligned with yourself can improve motivation, support healthier choices, and contribute to a better quality of life.
Beyond the clinic walls, we’re proud to be a pillar of community service. We have supported local organizations including public schools, Feed the Lambs, The Dream Center, and many more. Our founders are deeply committed to civic duty and to meeting the needs of underserved populations, including our Spanish-only speaking community. We are also honored to care for military members and veterans, supported by a highly trained billing team that helps our providers deliver high-quality care with excellence and consistency.
At the heart of MidSouth Integrative is our culture—a work family committed to taking care of those who take care of us, including staff, patients, and clients. We value strong teamwork, mutual respect, and a spirit of service. Our CEOs believe in leading by example and would never ask our team to do anything they aren’t willing to do themselves. We hold high standards, but we pair them with appreciation, integrity, and support—creating an environment we believe is truly therapeutic for both our team and the people we serve. We’ve found that keeping God first and staying grounded in our values has shaped not only how we practice, but how we care for one another along the way.
MidSouth Integrative continues to grow, but our foundation remains the same: thoughtful, integrative care; ethical, medically guided services; and a commitment to helping individuals—and our community—live healthier, fuller lives.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
For both Trevor and Meagan Qualls, much of the credit belongs to the people who have poured into them from the beginning. They speak often about their parents—who have supported their vision for business, stepped in to help with their children, and provided steady encouragement through every season of growth. They also recognize the tremendous role of Dr. Trevor’s brother, Tyler Qualls, whose support has made a meaningful difference along the way.
And beyond family, there are mentors and role models—some who may not even realize the impact they’ve had—who helped shape their perspective, strengthen their leadership, and offer a roadmap when the path forward wasn’t always clear. Simply put, they haven’t walked this journey alone, and they’re grateful for the guidance that helped make it possible.
