Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Taylor.
Hi Jason, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Founder and Executive Producer to Talent One Productions and Legends Reimagined.
I discovered my passion for music at an early age, inspired by the timeless voices of legends like Otis Redding, James Brown and Luther Vandross among many others.
I started performing in local venues and community spaces, learning the stage from the ground up.
Every show, every audience, and every opportunity helped shape me into the performer/producer I am today.
It wasn’t always easy, like many performers , a faced challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt. Music always pulled me forward.
In the early 2000’s I was fortunate to be cast in multiple productions in Branson Missouri.
My biggest accomplishment was being cast in Dolly Parton’s Stampede. The combination of music and horseback riding sparked my interest having grown up competing in Horse Shows and Rodeos across the country.
I had the opportunity to perform twice at the world – famous Euro, Disney in Paris, France – an experience that marked a major milestone in my professional career.
My time in Branson played a pivotal role in shaping my ability to create and produce the high- quality stage productions I present today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I started small, taking every opportunity I could to sing and perform. Those early experiences and talent shows along with local karaoke venues taught me, resilience, discipline, and the importance of connecting with people through music.
Every stage I stepped on, helped me build my confidence and shape my identity.
It wasn’t always easy to get cast or get the gigs. I learned very early that there are many talented artists and the competition is fierce.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a live music entertainment company based in Memphis, Tennessee that promotes local talent. Our mission is to offer a professional platform for aspiring vocalist and musicians to gain recognition and exposure while having the opportunity to perform for large audiences in a positive performance atmosphere.
Our production of “Legends Reimagined” is our most notable achievement to date.
I think what really sets the Legends Reimagined production apart from other music events is the balance between authenticity and individuality.
We absolutely respect the music and legacy of artists like Whitney Houston and Gladys Knight, but we don’t try to copy them. Instead, we bring our own voices, our own energy, and our own interpretation to the stage.
That makes the show feel alive – not like a recreation, but like a celebration that’s happening in the moment.
Our next show is scheduled for September 19, 2026 at the Bartlett Performing Arts Center in Bartlett Tennessee.
We will be adding additional dates and venues later in the year so follow our Facebook and website for updates.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I would say persistence has been key to my success. There were plenty of moments where things didn’t come together right away – whether it was building the show, finding the right people, or getting opportunities. But I stayed committed to the vision. Even when it was challenging, I kept refining the Legends Reimagined show , because I believed in what it could become. That consistency is what helped me grow from just performing into actually creating something meaningful and fresh for the audience.
