Today we’d like to introduce you to Asha Ball.
Hi Asha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey has been shaped by both professional discipline and personal transformation. I positioned myself for my career in insurance by working in personal injury law, where I spent over 11,000 hours learning potential risks if you aren’t properly insured, supporting clients through difficult situations, and gaining a deep understanding of risk, protection, and the real-life impact of unforeseen events. That experience gave me a strong foundation in communication, attention to detail, and advocating for others during some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives.
At the same time, I’ve always been drawn to excellence and high standards. I have a natural appreciation for luxury, not just in material things, but in the level of service, experience, and care people receive. That mindset is what drives me to operate at a higher level and build a brand that reflects professionalism, trust, and value.
My perspective on life and work was deeply impacted when I lost my sister at the age of 33. That loss was unexpected and life-changing, and it strengthened my sense of purpose. It reminded me how important it is to be prepared, to protect what matters, and to create stability for the people we love.
Today, I bring together my legal experience, my commitment to high standards, and my personal motivation to help others. I am focused on building a career that not only supports my family but also allows me to provide meaningful value, guidance, and protection to the clients I serve.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of my biggest challenges was finding clarity in my path early on. I knew I had ambition and a strong work ethic, but I didn’t immediately know which direction would allow me to fully maximize my potential. That period of uncertainty forced me to explore different environments, including my experience in personal injury law, where I developed discipline, professionalism, and a deeper understanding of client advocacy.
Rather than seeing that time as being stuck. I see it as a necessary phase of growth. It helped me refine my strengths, understand what I value, and become more intentional about the direction I chose. Once I gained that clarity, I became more focused, driven, and aligned with my long-term goals.
That experience taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of making purposeful decisions. It’s a mindset I carry with me now as I continue building a career centered on growth, stability, and excellence.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
The Harver Insurance Company is built around a specialized focus on protecting high-value assets and providing elevated, strategic coverage solutions. I work with clients who value not only protection, but also a high level of service, discretion, and attention to detail.
What sets me apart is my ability to clearly identify and serve a specific market with intention. I don’t take a general approach, I focus on understanding my clients’ lifestyles, assets, and long-term goals so I can provide tailored protection that truly fits their needs. My expertise is grounded in both hands-on experience and extensive, ongoing study, allowing me to confidently guide clients through complex decisions with clarity and precision.
I take pride in the discipline and consistency it took to align my career with what I genuinely enjoy. Building this path required focus, long hours of learning, and a commitment to continuous growth. That dedication is reflected in the level of service and knowledge I bring to every client interaction.
Ultimately my goal is to deliver not just insurance, but a trusted, high-level experience centered on protection, professionalism, and long-term value.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is simple: start. Don’t wait until everything feels perfect or completely figured out, because clarity comes from action, not hesitation.
It’s also important to find something you genuinely enjoy and commit to it with intention and passion. When you care about what you’re doing, you’re naturally willing to put in the time and effort it takes to grow.
In the beginning, you won’t know everything and that’s the point. You learn the business by being involved in it every day. The more time, focus, and energy you invest, the more confident and skilled you become. Growth comes from consistency, not shortcuts.
If I could go back, I would remind myself that progress is built through discipline and repetition. Stay committed, stay focused, and trust that the more you show up for your work, the better you will become.
