Today we’d like to introduce you to Kish Jones.
Hi Kish, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my Tattoo career 12 years ago. I worked in several different states, and at several different shops before I came to Arkansas. I had problems finding reliable child care, which created problems with my employer.
This soon lead me to open my own shop in which I could have my children with me while producing quality work.
Five years later, I have a booming business and a steadfast reputation for top-notch quality and great customer service.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No road I have ever traveled down is smooth. There have been many struggles, running a business is hard but add being a single mom to the mix and you have a recipe for rough roads.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a tattoo artist and business owner.
I specialize in cover-up tattoos and have developed a reputation for being able to cover up absolutely anything! I enjoy Realism as well, and love color or black and gray work. I am very proud of the vast amount of people both local and far that trust me with their skin and spread word of their positive experiences.
I have not publicly advertised my work, aside from social media, my great business volume is simply from word of mouth from happy customers.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I like the people best. Everyone has been overly welcoming to me and my family since we opened this shop in 2017.
We have received so much support and business from the local people. I am grateful to be so blessed and accepted by the community.
