Hi Robin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Well, my journey with Wilson Consulting began back in 2004 when I was in-between opportunities and decided to start my own business in Arkansas. Although it initially started as an Engineering Consulting venture, life took me elsewhere, and I ended up moving to Tennessee for full-time employment. But as fate would have it, the pandemic prompted me to re-evaluate and re-vamp Wilson Consulting in 2021, focusing on what truly ignited my passion: helping business professionals enhance their online presence and providing them with the tools for growth.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Balancing entrepreneurship with a full-time job was initially a definite challenge. Managing time effectively and knowing when to delegate tasks have been crucial in maintaining both aspects of my professional life without feeling overwhelmed. Entrepreneurship can sometimes be a lonely road. You must learn how to build new networks and identify opportunities for growth. There’s no blueprint, and if you are doing something new or innovative, you often have to find your own way.
