Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up as a Mexican American, I always had a passion for makeup. I remember rushing to school, often late, just to make sure my eyeliner was on point. It was more than just a routine; it was a way to express myself and feel confident. After high school, life took a different direction when I became a young mom to two amazing boys. Their dad was a constant source of support, urging me to pursue my dreams and never give up on what I loved.
I started working at various makeup counters and beauty stores, including MAC Cosmetics. Each experience taught me something new and helped me refine my skills. Over time, I began to build a clientele and grow my presence on social media. I was thrilled to see my hard work paying off as I received invitations to brand trips, including exciting experiences with Too Faced Cosmetics.
My strong work ethic comes from my mother, who owns a Mexican bakery and taqueria. Watching her dedication and passion for her business inspired me to pursue my own dreams with the same fervor. This year, I’m excited to continue my makeup journey while also contributing to the family business. Balancing my passions and family has been a rewarding challenge, and I look forward to what the future holds.
