Meet Adrienne Lee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrienne Lee.

Hi Adrienne, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Adrienne Lee, I am from Coldwater Mississippi, and reside in Southaven Mississippi. In 2005, I graduated from Coldwater High School. I attended Northwest Community College 2007 through 2009 and majored in computer information systems. I took a break to focus on other things that I was passionate about.

I got married to my best friend on Jan 22, 2011, and started a family. With being a mom of 3, I found interest in wanting to educate and help children between the ages of 1-4 years old. So, I went back to college and got my certification in childcare. However, I always kept Fashion & Style in my pocket despite doing a host of other things. Since I was 16, I always knew I wanted to work and be a part of the fashion world. I love being able to dress others as well as myself. It’s a passion of mine and comes naturally to me.

When you look good you feel good. I originally launched Classy Laundry in July 2014, after trial and error I successfully re-launched July 2021. I have been in my bag since. I also capture my own pictures and do my own promotional flyers for my growing business. When it comes to my business name, I always knew I wanted to have a catchy name that described who I am “classy”.

Classy women are timeless. Being classy isn’t a choice it’s a lifestyle.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
On this journey, I struggled and overcame self-doubt. I am the hardest on myself. I spent years trying to fit in places I’ve outgrown. Although I know a lot of people and a lot of people know me. I don’t necessarily hang out with a lot of people. I’m really big on company and energy. Not everyone deserves access to you.

People can be users, energy vampires, and low vibrational. People will project onto you, tarnish your name because they are threatened by your light. Always shine anyway because what’s meant for you will always be for you. The people you think would support you because you supported them, they don’t. So, I lowered my expectations of others. With that being said I learned to love myself on this journey, focus, and put myself first.

Let people think whatever they want because what other people think of me is none of my business. Your soul tribe will find you and you won’t have to change a thing about yourself. You won’t have to beg for support, love, or anything. So always love yourself, be kind to yourself and do what you love! Always remember no one is you and that is your power!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in style, fashion, photography, art, and creativity. Being able to pull different looks together for any occasion and I always want the pieces from my brand to reflect my own personal style.

I am the proudest of my very own family that I created with the help of God and being able to do what I love. Being authentic, trendy & classy is what sets me apart from others.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
My favorite book at the moment is “You are a Badass at Making Money” by Jen Sincero and my favorite app is “Calm” it helps me relax from a long day.
