The next generation in hip-hop… Lyfe3x is a 25-year-old aspiring hip-hop artist with many talents to bring to the music industry. Originally, a writer at heart, Lyfe3x writes, records, and composes all of his musicals; quite rare for an artist to have such versatility.
Born July 7th, 1996, young Lyfe3x grew up in a household heavy with physical, mental, and emotional struggles.
“Music is what kept me grounded throughout all the insanity in my life. ” – L3X (Lyfe3X). Though home life had its fair share of demons for the young prodigy, the music he used to escape became a growing passion… and it grew fast!!
“At 15 years old, I got my first computer laptop, my mom bought it for me for my birthday along with a brand new condenser microphone. I was so hyped, it was Audacity and it was the first software I ever used and I still utilize it to this day. That first recording was when I knew I wanted to be one of hip hop’s G.O.A.T.S. My music speaks to the masses, which is a blessing I’ve received through this talent.” – L3X (Lyfe3X).
Hailing from the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Metropolitan Area in Pennsylvania, Lyfe3x says he is determined to put Scranton on the map for hip hop. With influences such as J. Cole, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, KRS ONE, R.A. Tha Rugged Man, Eminem, and so many more greats of hip hop, Lyfe3x is the artist you don’t want to miss on the come up! Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey for Lyfe3x has merely just begun as his existence on the hip-hop scene has become only recently, the struggles come with providing a lot of material all on your own knowing there are easier ways around providing an infrastructure for yourself as an entrepreneur.
Branding and social media marketing are very time-consuming when it comes to being an independent hip-hop artist, so it’s important to separate your family time and make sure you make time for that part of your life.
A true artist, I feel will make this mistake at least once at the beginning of their career.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Lyfe3x Specializes in all things hip-hop. A true entrepreneur specializing in his own as well as others,
Lyrical content. Album covers. Recording production. Mass marketing. Media promotion. Artist websites.
What are your plans for the future?
Lyfe3x has a blueprint and believes in it firmly. His goals consist of a new music video set for release on June 15th, 2022. Outside of a music video is speculations around his 2nd of 5 spiritual elemental concept mixtapes.
“The Light/DarkTape ” is speculated to be released by the end of September though this has not yet become certified by the artist. Along with mixtape releasing comes his performances as Lyfe3x hits multiple stages within the coming months to different stages in the Tri-State Areas for performances.
On top of performances from Lyfe3x, he speaks of seeking a distribution deal with one of his favorite labels which he declined to disclose.
