Today we’d like to introduce you to Mikey Christian

Hi Mikey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Michael Christian Orr
Born July 23,1992 was raised in Memphis, Tennessee by his mother. He goes by the stage name “MikeyChristian” and began his rap career at the young age of 10 years old. Along with his strong love of music, he has an eye for film and fashion.
He’s also an actor & writer with plans to become a mogul.
“I want to change the scene of music…” says Orr
His influences are Drake, Jay-Z, Andre 3000, Snoop Dogg and Ma$e. All contributing to the cultivation of his personal style and musical interpretations.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
2021 I had a bad car wreck, it caused a fractured hand & a messed up knee. Did physical therapy until I was able to grip again with my hand, now I’m able to perform with no problem.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a hip hop artist/actor/host, I have an album that is out currently called “Too Playa” as an actor I’ve done 11 stage plays & 2 movies. I also host a podcast “Aye Mane Say Mane” which was a top 5 finalist at 2024 Memphis Podcast Festival. I have alot of layers to me. I also coach kids basketball for the church where I started playing basketball as a kid. My purpose is to be a blessing to others through music, comedy, basketball, & art.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I’ll be in a movie coming soon called “Zombies In Tha Hood”. My podcast “Aye Mane Say Mane” streams live on facebook every Thursday at 7PM. I also have new music, music videos, and merch dropping soon.
