Today we’d like to introduce you to Dee Kemp
Hi Dee, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Dee Kemp, a 27-year-old creative from Memphis. Growing up in a military family, I traveled extensively, which sparked my imagination early on. My creative journey began in 2007, during the MySpace boom, when I started my first side hustle designing pages for others.
While in college, I leveraged my creativity to plan, promote, and execute events while also designing posters and flyers. Recognizing my true passion, I founded OneClick Studios, a graphic design and photography business, in February 2022.
Since then, I’ve expanded my portfolio to include acting, modeling, and influencing, with roles in short films, feature films, and music videos. I’m proud to have been recently nominated for Graphic Designer of the Year by the Memphis Elegance Awards.
In essence, I’m a versatile multimedia artist with a diverse range of creative skills!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not! Besides the everyday struggles of just growing up and finding myself; I’ll never forget one of the biggest challenges I faced when starting my business was overcoming doubt, both from myself and others. I remember I was working a stable job at the time, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my entrepreneurial dream and was laughed at. It was so difficult to ignore and believe in myself, but I persevered and proved that it was possible.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
With a passion ignited in 2007, I’ve honed my skills as a multimedia artist for over a decade. From crafting MySpace pages for friends to launching my own business, OneClick Studios, in 2022, I’ve dedicated myself to delivering exceptional graphic design and photography services.
What sets me apart?
My unique blend of creativity and technical expertise. As a former military kid, I’ve developed a global perspective that influences my work. This, coupled with my experience in event planning, marketing, and entertainment, gives me a well-rounded understanding of how visual communication can impact brands and audiences.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Never stop believing in yourself!
