Today we’d like to introduce you to Christen Robinson.
Hi Christen, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey as a designer didn’t begin with a fancy studio or formal title—it began with curiosity and the desire to create something meaningful. I’ve always been drawn to beautiful details, thoughtful branding, and the way great design can make people feel something before they ever read a single word.
Over time, what started as a creative passion grew into a career. I began helping businesses and entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life through branding, print design, digital marketing, and visual storytelling. Whether I’m designing a magazine layout, product packaging, promotional materials, or social media content, I love creating work that feels intentional, and timeless.
As the creative industry has evolved, so have I. I’ve expanded into content creation and UGC, helping companies connect with their audiences in authentic ways.
Every project is another opportunity to learn, grow, and create something that leaves a lasting impression. My goal has never been to simply make things look good—it’s to create designs that inspire, connect, and help people and businesses confidently share who they are with the world.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like many creative entrepreneurs, my journey hasn’t been without challenges. Building a career in design has required persistence, adaptability, and a willingness to keep learning as the industry continues to evolve. There have been seasons of self-doubt, financial uncertainty, and balancing creative work with the responsibilities of everyday life. I’ve had to navigate personal setbacks while continuing to show up for my clients and my goals, often reminding myself that growth doesn’t happen overnight. Each obstacle has strengthened my resilience, sharpened my skills, and reinforced why I love what I do. Looking back, those challenges didn’t stop my journey—they became an important part of it, shaping both the designer and the person I am today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m known for creating clean, modern, and polished designs that feel both approachable and professional. Whether I’m designing a brand identity, a magazine layout, a product label, or promotional materials, my goal is always the same: to create work that not only looks beautiful but also communicates a clear message and helps my clients stand out.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Many come to me with nothing more than an idea, and I get to transform that vision into something tangible that represents their business with confidence. Seeing a client excited to launch a new brand or watching their business grow because of something we created together is incredibly rewarding.
What sets me apart is my ability to see the bigger picture. I don’t just design attractive graphics—I think about the entire brand experience. My background in design, marketing, and content creation allows me to approach every project strategically, ensuring each piece works together to tell a cohesive story. I believe great design is about more than aesthetics; it’s about creating meaningful connections between businesses and the people they serve.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
One of my favorite things about Memphis has been the creative energy and sense of community. There are so many talented entrepreneurs, artists, and small business owners who are passionate about what they do, and it’s inspiring to be surrounded by people who are building something meaningful. I’ve also enjoyed discovering the city’s unique character, rich culture, and the opportunities to connect with other creatives.
If I had to choose one thing I like least, it’s simply adjusting to a new place. Anytime you relocate, it takes time to learn your way around, build new relationships, and find your rhythm. But I see that as part of the journey, and I’m excited to continue exploring everything Memphis has to offer.
