Hi Davonica & Patricia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We’re DeeDee & Tricia — better known as Mrs. & Mrs. Jones.
Our story started years ago in church, but the real conversation that changed everything happened at a karaoke lounge. What began as a spark turned into a journey that has lasted 14 years together and 9 years of marriage.
Today, we share our life, love, and lessons as relationship content creators while also building our brand as entrepreneurs and owners of D&P’s Secret Closet boutique.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
“Like any journey, we’ve had our struggles. Balancing our relationship with running a business hasn’t always been easy, and there were moments where we had to learn how to separate emotions from decisions. We’ve also faced the pressure of building a brand publicly while figuring things out behind the scenes. But every challenge helped us grow—both as partners and as entrepreneurs—and made us stronger in the process.”

“We’re relationship content creators and entrepreneurs who specialize in inspiring couples through authenticity, humor, and real-life experiences. Over the years we’ve built a community that connects with us not just because of the content, but because we show the real side of love, marriage, and building a life together. We’re also proud owners of our boutique, where we’ve turned our brand into a real-world experience for our supporters. What sets us apart is that everything we do is genuine — our love, our journey, and the way we bring our audience along with us as we grow.”
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson we’ve learned along our journey is that authenticity and consistency matter more than perfection. By staying true to who we are, supporting each other, and showing up even when things weren’t easy, we were able to build a real connection with our audience and turn our passion into a thriving business.
