Today we’d like to introduce you to Gregory Price.
Hi Gregory, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
G. Price is a multifaceted entrepreneur, community leader, and cultural tastemaker whose impact stretches across entertainment, mentorship, and social upliftment in Memphis and beyond. With a spirit rooted in service and a vision fueled by creativity and purpose, Price has built a powerful portfolio of ventures that reflect both his passion for people and his commitment to excellence.
As the founder and CEO of Priceless Entertainment and PMG Priceless Management Group, G. Price has become a respected figure in the entertainment industry, known for discovering and developing talent, curating unforgettable events, and creating platforms that spotlight local artistry and Southern flair. His events are known for blending upscale style with authentic Memphis soul.
A true believer in the power of storytelling and representation, Price is preparing to launch The Poders House: Whitehaven Podcast Studio—a professional, green-screen-equipped space designed to empower voices from the community. Located in the heart of Whitehaven, the studio will offer podcasters and creators the tools and support needed to bring high-quality content to life and elevate the voices that matter most.
Beyond business, G. Price is deeply committed to social impact. Alongside his wife, Kimberly Price, he co-founded the GKPRICE Foundation in 2016. Under their leadership, the foundation has become a beacon of hope in Memphis, organizing initiatives like the Annual Hat, Gloves & Scarves Drive for the Homeless and spearheading innovative mentorship programs such as Men of Whitehaven (M.O.W.) Thus program focus on guiding young Black men through high school and into adulthood with wisdom, structure, and community support.
Later this year, G. Price will also debut The Gentlemen’s Aficionado, a podcast dedicated to style, substance, and success. Exploring topics ranging from fatherhood and faith to cigars and fine spirits, the show reflects Price’s belief that being a gentleman is about balance—honoring heritage while embracing growth.
Whether he’s mentoring youth, planning citywide events, producing music, or championing community causes, G. Price brings a rare blend of grit, grace, and vision to everything he does. He is not just building businesses—he’s building legacy.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
His journey has come with sacrifice—long hours, missed moments with family, and seasons of mental and physical strain. A Persian Gulf and Iraqi Freedom war veteran, Price returned home carrying the invisible wounds of war. Mentally unprepared for civilian life after serving in what he describes as “the spoils of the war,” he faced struggles that led to incarceration. But even in his lowest moments, he found strength, clarity, and purpose. Through it all, he’s remained focused—not on popularity or praise—but on healing, rebuilding, and leaving behind a legacy that’s bigger than his past.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At my core, I’m a builder—of platforms, people, and purpose. For over 30 years, I’ve worked in the entertainment industry as a promoter, talent manager, and cultural curator through Priceless Entertainment and PMG Priceless Management Group. I specialize in creating upscale, memorable events that reflect Southern culture and community pride. From concerts and day parties to talent showcases and brand activations, I’m known for delivering experiences that feel both polished and personal.
What I’m most proud of is the work I do through the GKPRICE Foundation, which I co-founded with my wife Kimberly. Since 2016, we’ve led initiatives that serve Memphis in real, tangible ways. One of our newest efforts, Men of Whitehaven (M.O.W.), is set to launch soon—a long-term mentorship program for young Black men in the community.
This fall, I’ll also be launching The Gentlemen’s Aficionado, a podcast focused on style, substance, and success for the modern Southern man—covering everything from family and faith to cigars, culture, and leadership.
What sets me apart is my tenacity and the relationships I’ve built over the years. I’ve faced real challenges, but I’ve never let them stop me. I stay grounded in purpose, passionate about community, and focused on building something that will last far beyond me.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
To find a mentor or build a network, focus on identifying your goals, leveraging existing connections, and attending industry events. Be authentic, offer value in return, and stay consistent with follow-ups. Mentorship is a two-way relationship, so show appreciation and progress.
