Check Out Kween’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kween

Kween, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a young girl I would watch Hannah Montana and Austin and Ally . Both shows helped me to fall in love with the art of performing . During my sixth grade year , a friend and I performed SWV Weak . After performing that song with her , I came back the next year to perform in that same talent show an original rap that featured the music from Nicki Minaj’s song “I’m The Best” … Every since then I have enjoyed performing and composing music

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has not been smooth at all considering that it’s me trying to juggle work , life and still give top notch quality with my art . I’ve also had known artist such as Fetty Wap reach out to me about helping to promote me , but only took advantage of the fact that I was a striving artist . I’ve also had artist such as Nicki Minaj to be inspired by me ( wether it was her team or her ) . That did nothing but let me know that I’m on the right track . Though it has been rough I wouldn’t give it up and I’m going to see what’s at the end of it .

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an Artist / Songwriter & Performer . I’m known for creating some hit songs . I am proud of the fact that I have not given up . In this industry it’s easy to lose hope especially when you’re the under dog . My ability to write/ compose an actual song with meanings in different genres sets me apart from others .

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck hasn’t played a role at all . I simply believe that everything has its time
