Check Out Moriah Mullins’ Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Moriah Mullins.

Hi Moriah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello everyone! My name is Moriah Mullins. I have been working as a mail carrier for the USPS for a little over 1o years now. After having my son, I started making and selling mommy t-shirts and created a social media platform named “Momming With Mo”. This is where I promoted the clothing and also posted my daily adventures with my son, Landon. I had my first event at Pinot Palette and the support was so crazy that it motivated me to start an online boutique for women called “Blossom By Moriah”.

I wanted this clothing boutique to make women, especially mothers, feel sexy but also comfortable. I chose that name because everybody knows that I absolutely adore flowers and I also love to see everyone around me flourish. So that’s why I chose the word Blossom. I launched that boutique on August 10, 2020, and had my first event “Shop & Wine Experience” on December 7th.

Ever since then, everything has been amazing, I have also grown my personal Instagram account to 40k and now I am currently offering coaching calls to help others organically build their platforms and profit from it.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A wise person once said, “Nothing worth having comes easy”. Lol. This road wasn’t smooth but it has been so rewarding and worth it. My biggest challenge was working a full-time job, being a full-time mother, doing the t-shirts, and trying to have a personal life. I would go to work, spend quality time with my s0n and then stay up all night making shirts.

Sometimes I would have such huge orders that I would literally work from the time I pick my son up until 3 am in the morning snd would have to be at work at 7:30 am. It got so ridiculous that it actually took for him to say, “Mom, take a break. I miss you” for me to actually realize that it was starting to consume me.

That’s why I started Blossom. It allowed me to still do something that I enjoyed but not take as much time away from my family.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As far as my boutique, I think what sets me apart is the classiness of my brand. Not only do I sell my products but I also wear them. I don’t sell anything that I wouldn’t actually wear myself and I think that’s why I spend so much time searching for inventory. It makes my brand more relatable and personable to me. Blossom also ranges from sixes small-3x which to me, allows all women to be able to shop comfortably.

I also help people with their social media if they struggle with creating content, growing their audience, or figuring out how to establish their expertise using social media. I just started offering these services because after going from 7k followers to 40+k followers in two months and numerous questions about how I did so, I decided to share my journey and offer tips. I offer zoom calls or one on one consultations to help get them started on making game-changing content.

I’m also known for my relationship with my son, Landon. He is literally my best friend and we do almost everything together. I strongly encourage others to make sure to spend quality time with their family despite how much much they have to do; it’s so important. I often document our outings on my personal social media and I also share cool local sports/events that I think people would enjoy with their families.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
My all-time favorite books are “The power of positive thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale, “You are a badass” by Jen Sincero, “#girlboss” by Sophia Amoruso, “The subtle art of not giving a f*ck” by Mark Manson. and so much more. Over the years, I’ve learned to make sure to set aside some “me time” and make a goal to finish at least one book every month.

I’m also really big into mediation coloring books and coloring apps. It’s odd but it has really helped me with being more patient and paying attention to detail.

I am actually a part of a podcast myself you guys. It is called “Franky Speaking” which airs every Wednesday at 9 pm on Youtube and Facebook. It started off with me being a guest speaker last season and it landed me a permanent spot as part of 1/3 host this season. Frank Ray is such an intelligent person and I am so honored to be a part of anything that he has to offer, So check us out you guys and bring your wine because you will not regret it.
