Check Out Samuel Adelowo’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Adelowo

Hi Samuel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Sure!
My journey has been a mix of technology, music, and leadership. I’ve always had a passion for IT, which led me to manage IT processes, vendor relationships, and support teams. Over time, I’ve taken on roles that involved setting up clinics, managing network installations, and overseeing major IT transitions.

At the same time, I’ve built a career as **DJ Samkeyz**, specializing in Afrobeats. Music has always been a big part of my life, and I’ve been fortunate to perform at various events and expand my reach internationally. I’m also working on growing my presence through **live streaming on Instagram and TikTok**.

Balancing IT leadership and my DJ career has been a journey of discipline, adaptability, and passion. I continue to evolve, taking on new challenges while staying true to what I love.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—there have been challenges on both the IT and music fronts.

In IT, managing multiple projects, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring seamless technology transitions can be demanding. There have been moments when unexpected issues arose, tight deadlines had to be met, or communication gaps impacted progress. Leading teams also comes with its hurdles, especially when it comes to ensuring everyone is aligned and motivated.

On the music side, balancing my passion for DJing with a full-time career has required strong time management and dedication. Breaking into the industry, building a reputation as **DJ Samkeyz**, and expanding my audience—especially internationally—has taken persistence and consistency. Live streaming on platforms like TikTok presents its own challenges, from growing an audience to staying engaging.

Despite these struggles, each challenge has taught me valuable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and perseverance, shaping both my professional and personal journey.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I have two main passions: IT and music.

**In IT:**
I specialize in managing technology processes, coordinating vendor relationships, and overseeing IT support operations. My work involves setting up new locations, closing down facilities, managing network installations, and ensuring seamless transitions for both staff and systems. I take pride in training teams, ensuring they’re equipped to provide excellent support. One of my proudest achievements is successfully leading large-scale IT projects, like the setup of the Desoto clinic and the rollout of the Gastro1 four-digit extension system. What sets me apart is my ability to balance technical expertise with strong leadership and clear communication, ensuring both projects and people succeed.

**As DJ Samkeyz:**
I specialize in **Afrobeats**, bringing vibrant energy to every event and connecting with audiences through music. I’m known for my dynamic performances, seamless mixes, and ability to create an unforgettable atmosphere. I’m proud of my growth as a DJ, from local gigs to expanding my reach internationally. What sets me apart is my passion for sharing culture through music, blending traditional and modern sounds to resonate with diverse audiences. I’m also excited to explore the world of **live streaming on Instagram and TikTok** to connect with even more fans globally.

Overall, whether in IT or music, what distinguishes me is my dedication, adaptability, and passion for what I do.
