Hi Timara, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi, my name is Mara Barton! It all started when people loved how I did my own eyebrows and eyelashes and asked me to do theirs. At the time, I didn’t have a place to work, so I told them I’d have to do it in my car—and surprisingly, they were perfectly fine with that. That’s truly where my journey began: me in the driver’s seat, my client in the passenger seat, not even realizing it could turn into a career.
From there, I earned enough to rent a small corner space in a building, then eventually upgraded to my own room. As I saved more, I was able to sign a lease for my very first official building—a place I could proudly call mine. I eventually outgrew that space and moved into a larger building on Quince, where I’m currently located today.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting out wasn’t easy. I had no professional space, so I began doing lashes and brows in my car, with me in the driver’s seat and my client in the passenger seat. Resources were limited, and I had to use what I had until I could afford more. Building trust was also a challenge—convincing people to let me work on them outside of a traditional studio took courage and faith on both sides. Financially, I had to save every dollar to move from a corner space to renting a room, and eventually into my first official building. Along the way, I wore every hat—artist, business owner, marketer, and receptionist—while facing the fear of failure and uncertainty about whether my business would last. Each time I outgrew a space, I had to take on the stress of relocating and expanding, all while learning the ins and outs of running a business. Those early struggles taught me resilience, dedication, and faith, and today I am proud to be thriving in my larger location on Quince, proof that humble beginnings can grow into something greater.

At our wellness spa, we are committed to enhancing your beauty and health from the inside out. Our licensed estheticians deliver expert skin and body care, performing painless hair removal services , while our massage therapists provide personalized treatments for deep relaxation and relief. We proudly offer sauna services that support overall wellness, helping with stress, meditation, pain management, arthritis, and migraines. Before each sauna session, we perform a full health assessment, including vital signs and body weight. Our in-house barista prepares customized wellness smoothies using nutrient-rich ingredients to meet each client’s needs. From rejuvenating treatments to nourishing refreshments, every detail is designed to help you feel your best—inside and out.
Any big plans?
Looking ahead, my vision is to expand far beyond where I am today. I plan to open additional locations, creating luxury spaces where beauty and wellness come together. I also want to launch a training academy to mentor and certify the next generation of lash and brow artists, while developing my own product line of lash, brow, and skincare essentials. Beyond the spa, I see myself making a greater impact in the community by hosting workshops, outreach programs, and wellness events to inspire young women and entrepreneurs. My goal is to create not just a business, but a lasting legacy—a brand known for excellence, empowerment, and self-care.
