Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Smith.
Hi Aaron, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my handyman repair business 3 years ago. Before that God had given me a vision for a youth center skatepark with a coffee shop inside. On the way to the gym one morning I saw a vision of the coffee shop in Abandoned Antiques. I began to inquire about the area and if it was available for rent. It was like the doors were opening right in front of me and I had to walk through. We have built a meaningful place for the community to enjoy great coffee and a place for prayer if they need it. We have a community prayer box you can write your prayers on so we can pray for our community. Also we put out God’s Word on every cup sold. We are excited about our second location that will be opening soon at 16 Beaver Rd Munford, TN. We are looking forward to what God has in store and reaching more youth in our community. We are believing that God will provide for the full vision of Skatepark Youth Center.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not always smooth just like anything that is worth it in life you have to have faith most of all but also perseverance and persistent. Never quit
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are reaching people in our community and across the world making Disciples of Jesus Christ. Every encounter we have everyday matters sometimes people just need to know they matter. That’s exactly what we are here for at The Potter’s Cup if you need prayer we got you or if you just need to talk and hang out we got you. We have our own blend of coffee and create top notch lattes and nitro cold brew
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was a baseball player and gamer. Still gamer today when I have time. Also still play softball. I was also a skateboarder in my teenage years and grew up skating awesome spots around the city from Bartlett Highschool to downtown Post office.
