Hi Angela, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I spent over 15 years working in the banking industry, where I managed more than 30 employees while also being a full-time mother of three and a wife for 10 years. I was constantly juggling responsibilities and carrying the weight of making sure everything and everyone was taken care of. Eventually, I realized I needed a break—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Someone suggested I try getting a massage, even though I had never had one in my life. That single experience changed everything for me. The relaxation was unlike anything I had felt before. My stress melted away, my headaches stopped, and my mood noticeably improved. For the first time in a long time, I felt balanced again.
That experience sparked a new purpose in me. I wanted to give that same feeling back to others—to help people find relief from stress, pain, and the pressures of everyday life, just as massage had done for me.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey has not been a smooth road. Leaving a stable banking career for a new industry brought fear, uncertainty, and financial risk, all while balancing motherhood and family responsibilities. Thankfully, my husband’s stable career provided much-needed support during that transition. There were moments of self-doubt—especially during massage school—as I learned a new skill and rebuilt my confidence. Despite the challenges, each obstacle strengthened my resilience and reaffirmed my purpose to create balance, healing, and relief for others.
